The midsole cushioning keeps the shoe comfortable and light, while the carbon plate helps transfer your energy into sustained speed on the track. On the outsole, the spikes support a smooth stride with optimal traction for every step of the race. The toe box is slightly wider to give your toes some room, while the upper keeps your foot secure as you run.

• Upper: The deconstructed upper is very porous, offering a highly breathable and lightweight fit with the security to keep you locked in for the entirety of your race. Victory tape badging highlights the Brooks logo, and a roomy toe box enhances comfort.
• Midsole: The full-length carbon fiber composite SpeedVault Race Plate enhances the midsole by propelling you forward like a catapult. While the DNA Flash v2 foam is a firmer foam, the midsole in the Hyperion LD still feels incredibly reactive and not too stiff during long distance races.
• Outsole: The forefoot spike plate features six detachable spikes for a more relaxed construction that rolls you through your stride for longer distances on the track. While not overly rigid, the spikes are still bouncy and promote efficient runs.
